Van Gogh Bicycle Path in Nuenen

Dutch designer Daan Roosegaarde's cycle path, one kilometer-long bike path, illuminated with th thousands of glow-in-the-dark stones that capture sunlight in the day and glow at night. The patterns were based on Vincent Van Gogh's painting The Starry Night. It's in Nuenen, The Netherlands. To mark the 125th anniversary of the artists' death, a group of designers have lit a solar-powered path through historic Van Gogh sites. Watch the photos. Vincent van Gogh lived from 1853 to 1890 in the province of Brabant. At that time nobody appreciated him as an artist. Van Gogh is now among the top world-famous artists. His works are on show all around the world.
